Vehicle Description Hi, I'm Carmen and Studio Hotrods will be selling my very nice 1964 Plymouth Sport Fury.
I purchased the vehicle in 2003 and have really enjoyed it.
I believe it was originally a 365 H.
P.
426 automatic car with 3 wide front brakes.
Indy Cylinder Head built the 440 engine and it performs very well (see spec sheet) Bought another 1964 Sport Fury with an 833 Mopar 4 speed, checked it over and installed it with a heavy duty 10 1/2 clutch, which was not strong enough to handle the torque of this engine.
It slipped in second gear.
So I installed an 11 Center Force dual friction clutch assembly with an approved fly wheel, a scatter shield, a HEMI 4 speed and a new drive shaft.
It really hooks and doesn't slip.
I rebuilt the front suspension, including a new pair of Mopar improved handling torsion bars.
I believe 1 or 2 leaves were added to each rear spring.
Measured very carefully and ordered wheels with correct back spacing so the rear tires will not rub on the leaf springs or the fender wells.
I installed a 1967 dual master cylinder and an aluminum radiator.
The interior is new and is very nice.
I believe that it would be pretty hard to find a nicer one for the price.
I will answer any questions you might have honestly! Carmen Manzardo.
